Hello! My name is Sofia (but most people call me Sofy), and this is the story of how I turned my dream into reality: Vice Boat Club.
Since I can remember, my father introduced me to the beautiful world of boats. We would go out as a family, spending nights on the water, and it didn’t take long for me to discover my special connection to the sea. Years later, while studying at university, I realized another passion of mine; organizing events. As a detail oriented, sociable, and joyful person, I found myself naturally talented in creating meaningful celebrations.
For years, this was just a hobby. But in 2019, I decided to take a leap of faith. I moved to Miami, and one day, gazing out at the sea from my apartment, a question struck me: “Is there someone who doesn’t just rent boats but creates true experiences on them?”
I couldn't find the answer I was looking for. Then, I thought: “Why not me?” That question set everything in motion, and Vice Boat Club was born, a company dedicated not just to boat rentals but to creating unforgettable experiences.
Since then, this journey has turned me into a young entrepreneur who truly loves her work. It’s a path that has allowed me to organize over 1,000 unique events aboard different boats in Miami; from birthdays and bachelorette parties to marriage proposals, corporate retreats, and more. Each event is unique, and while the journey hasn’t always been smooth, seeing the joy on my clients faces motivates me to keep improving every day.
A New Chapter: The Bachy
One day, after an amazing bachelorette party aboard one of our boats, a client asked me: “Why don’t you sell all these amazing party ideas online?” At that moment, I didn’t have an answer. But her question planted a seed, and soon after, The Bachy was born.
The Bachy is a company specializing in bachelorette party products. Since its launch, we’ve had the privilege of celebrating with over 2,000 brides as they plan their once-in-a-lifetime events. It’s been a fulfilling, exciting, and challenging process, but knowing I play a small part in making someone’s special moments even more memorable fills me with pride and the drive to keep going.
